Bristol Cleaning Control LTD. Environmental Policy

Bristol Cleaning Control Ltd. recognises that the services we provide and our position as a professional cleaning organisation has both a direct and indirect affect upon the environment. Thus, as a company we strive to care for and take in to account the environment whenever possible. The purpose of this policy is to provide a foundation from which we can construct and uphold an environmentally friendly approach to the provision of our cleaning services whereby a safe and healthy working environment can be developed.

We recognise that, due to the nature of our business, we have the potential to influence the environment in detrimental ways, particularly with the cleaning materials we use. Use of such chemicals is therefore under strict control by management, and it is our policy to minimise the use of harmful products and to use environmentally friendly products wherever possible.

Our policy is also to liaise and work with our individual clients to ensure that the cleaning services offered are of a high quality but also are assessed for environmental impact and tailored so that they are as environmentally friendly as possible. We will recommend and endeavour to implicate any accepted cleaning and waste removal practices that could help us and the client become more environmentally friendly i.e. recycling.

Bristol Cleaning Control Ltd. recognises and accepts the responsibilities and obligations we have to ensure that the environment is not adversely affected by our actions in providing the cleaning service. We are committed to not harming the environment in any ways that are reasonably practicable.

In fulfilling our policy, we will pay particular attention to:

• Providing sufficient information, training and supervision to enable our employees to practice our policy to its full extent.
• Use of environmentally friendly equipment and materials in the workplace.
• The review and revision of our current systems and incorporation of any environmentally friendly beneficial technology or materials.
• Observe and comply with legislation regarding environmental  issues and the environment.
• Arrangements for the safe use, handling and storage of equipment and materials that potentially could have a negative environmental impact.

We make place significant emphasis on environmental consideration when training and communicating with our staff, and encourage them to bring any prospective environmental issues to the attention of management.

Compliance with this policy is mandatory for all employees of Bristol Cleaning Control Ltd. Non-compliance with this policy is considered a disciplinary issue and will be dealt with accordingly.
